The Apollo Institute of Technology was established in 2008 under the patronage of the BD Charitable Educational Society. The visionary efforts of key figures like Dr. S.P. Gupta, the founding Director General, who boasts a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Brooklyn, New York, and has previously served as a Professor at IIT Kanpur, were instrumental in bringing the institute to life. Alongside him, Dr. P.N. Maheshwari, the Director, who earned his Ph.D. from Guelph, Canada, and previously held the esteemed position of Director at H.B.T.I. Kanpur, played a pivotal role in its inception.
